Mary was among the MPHM's first graduates and is now an OSU Extension educator in Madison County, where her work involves applied research and education in agriculture and natural resources. Prior to her current position, Mary was an OSU Extension Educator in Greene County, Ohio.
For her MPHM project, Mary was involved in the Buckeye Lady Beetle Blitz program with Mary Gardiner in Entomology, an statewide citizen network to collect and identify lady beetles across Ohio to support the conservation of this beneficial species. Mary holds the MPHM master's degree and a dual masters degree in Agricultural Economics and Agricultural Policy from Ohio State. She is interested in promoting natural ecosystem health and addressing risk in specialty crop production through education and outreach related to agricultural management practices.
